The place features an inviting pool and friendly cleaning staff. The overall experience fell short due to several issues, including aggressive treatment from management regarding outside drinks, a lack of food options, and insufficient cleanliness. The absence of air conditioning, and maintenance disruptions early in the morning were quite unwelcome.

We had a very pleasant time in this good budget hotel in Albufeira. Coffee, butter, slices of fresh bread, and jam served for breakfast were delightful. The staff was very efficient, the bathroom was spacious.

From the comments above, we thought we were going to some ruins. However, we were surprised for good. hotel is noticeably lacking in maintenance, at least in our case we stayed in the room "with a view", there were recent renovations. treatment of the staff is unbeatable, in that sense it is very good, as well as the location which is very comfortable and close to everything, even the beach. breakfast is not "continental" as they say it is, there was not a bread and butter as I read before; there was a coffee machine with milk and chocolate, juice machine that was not squeezed, several types of breads, two types of cereals, some fruits and jams. Being in Portugal they could have put some kind of cheese and ham on it, well, that wasn't the reality that they put in the comments either. room was wide and view from the balcony was great. reality is that it wasn't the best hotel of my life, it wasn't the worst either as many said. I think that with a little maintenance and improving small things it can be a very good hotel.

Staff and location
We asked for a cradle for the baby and they put in an extra bed. After claiming the crib they put it in. Old installations, room with a plug, old TV that doesn't even work, the WiFi is very slow, the buffet is disappointing and there is no toaster! You eat the dry bread as it is. Powdered juices and little else. When we paid with a 5 or 10 euro bill we were always told k they had no change.. That they wanted coins. The towels are changed every 3 days, there's no shampoo or gel, just a bar of soap. But the staff is very attentive and help you in everything, the good location walking about 10 min was the beach and all the atmosphere of the night. After all we were going to the hotel just to take a shower and sleep a little more but if they improve certain details such as breakfast put a toaster, natural juices, colacao for children .. Soaps for the bath and little more the stay would be more pleasant.

Pool and Breakfast.
Nearly every night I had to get up and close a door that was banging in the wind. The people on reception could have heard this but never closed it. I will not be staying there again due to this fact and not recommend the place to anyone.

A shocking lack of basic comfort
The hotel's location was a highlight, just a stone's throw away from the charming old town. The sea view from the balcony added a special magic to our evenings.
The absence of air conditioning was unbearable, especially . Add to that the rude service and a mouldy bathroom, and it felt more like a burden than a retreat.

The terrace is not bad, a little dirty, but good. The room was clean. What we liked best was the view.
pool is extremely small, although the room was not bad, bed was horrible and access to the shower plate was a bit uncomfortable, as well as small. cistern was broken and I had to fix it. access to the hotel is all stairs, nothing prepared for people with reduced mobility. From my terrace I could see the neighbor lying on the bed, they could see me, privacy: little. Besides, some friends from the hotel decided to have a party at the pool one afternoon with vodka and tobacco, of course we had to leave the rest of us who were there. Don't wait too long for breakfast, they only have butter and jam with a couple of breads and some cereals, very bad coffee, if you arrive later than 9 or 9:15, you are out of bread. fatal experience.

Everything! super nice deal.. My partner and I were about to cancel the trip because of the comments we saw about the hotel. it's a good thing we didn't! Super clean, well lit rooms and comfortable beds (I'm a pretty difficult person to sleep outside). big balcony, TV and a new bathroom, totally refurbished. rooms are cleaned every day (they make the bed too) and towels and sheets are changed every 3 days. elevator works properly and breakfast is very good. coffee is not great (a bit watery), there is no toaster but otherwise great. I recommend it because it's great value for money. center of Albufeira is a 5 minute walk.
It has a few stairs to get to the reception.
